A fast turn around has meant Cookers and Ovens customer's expectations have been exceeded.
"We’ve had lots of disasters with delivery companies over the years" explains Mel, Sales Director at Cookers & Ovens, "but we partnered with BJS Extra in January and have been delighted. We’ve always wanted a delivery partner who offers the same level of customer service to our customers that we would, and this is the first time our high standards have been met."
Cookers and Ovens, part of the Tippers Family, have been using BJS Extra to deliver their wide range of kitchen appliances since 2021.
"‘It’s been seamless" says Mel; "We deliver to the BJS Extra warehouse three times a week and every time our driver remarks on the efficiency of the warehouse operation on arrival; the van is unloaded and scanned within half an hour. The turnaround time is amazing, it has cut our lead time down and exceeded customer’s expectations. Because they deliver quicker we can sell faster.
The way the BJS Extra team have communicated with our customers has been spot on, and where there have been unexpected challenges, like snow, they have come to me with solutions not problems - and continued to meet lead times.
We found that other delivery partners hindered our growth; they were not able to meet the increasing demand for flexibility of delivery windows customers have come to expect, and in some cases the number of breakages meant we were cost neutral which was very frustrating.
Our delivery partner is the face of our brand and if they have a ‘dump and run’ attitude it damages our reputation. We feel in very safe hands with BJS Extra, it has been such a relief to find exactly what we have been looking for!
We have enjoyed getting to know the team at BJS Extra, real people to speak to has made the world of difference to us as a team. Given how much busier we are thanks to their support we hope to be speaking to them a lot more!"
