Peter Skelton, Web Manager, spoke to us about why saddling up with BJS was an obvious choice:
“At Cycles UK, we sell bikes ranging from £300 up to £10,000 and were looking for a white glove service to handle the higher end bikes. Although expensive bikes are generally quite light, they are an awkward shape and BJS's experience with furniture delivery made them a good fit for us.
The biggest issue we had was damage on these high-end bikes we were sending to customers. As you can imagine a £10,000 bike getting damaged in transit causes big headaches all round. The white glove service from BJS means we don't have to worry about damage.
The communication with customers is also great, making sure that they will be available to receive their new bike at a convenient time. We use a range of couriers for accessories and bulk bike deliveries, but we reserve BJS for our more expensive bikes where we can't risk any damage.
